While I wasn’t exactly threatened, I did recently have an incident with an Arch Linux fanboy.

Some years ago I switched from Arch to Gentoo on just about all of my systems. The person in question randomly found me on the Arch forums and added me on MSN. At this point I didn’t mind this. Then he started questioning me on why I switched to Gentoo and I gave my reasons. It was when he started acting as though me switching from Arch to Gentoo was a personal attack on his beliefs that I realized I was dealing with the typical 12 year old boy mentality of a fanboy.
